Winter Warmers - this week was a pairs better ball with two jokers and two free throws each player. Winners with 60 points on count back were Trevor Harvey & Tony Walker, 2nd also 60 points John Helstrip and Malcolm Rose, and 3rd with 59 points Mike Graves and Roy Rowe.
This weeks winner - Trevor & Tony Overall After twelve rounds Tony Walker takes over as overall leader with 31 points from Alan Dolby 27 with Trevor Harvey and Jarvis Peden on 25. Slack Goblet In the 'race' for the Slack Goblet, Alan Jessop scored 3 points this week but still retains the lead with 11 single points from Fred Bellingall and John Callow with 10 each. The opening inter club matches are at home to Stanton on the Wolds on Wednesday 4th April, and away to Newark the following day Thursday 5th April
Winter League - For details of all Winter Leagues please visit the Winter League page. Players are reminded that all outstanding matches must be played before the end of January. One matche remains in Division One. The quarter finals of the play off knock outs will be A. Division One 1st Place v. T.Harvey & E.Armstrong B. Division One 4th Place v. P.Gill & C.Watson C. Division One 3rd Place v. F.Bellingall & V.Jakeman D. Division One 2nd Place v. M.Dickinson & J.Price Semi Finals will be winners of A v B, C v D. Stoke Rochford Seniors Open 2012 This year’s Seniors Open will be held on Wednesday 16th May 2012. The entry fee has been held at last year’s level of £22. As usual it will be an individual Stableford competition with full handicap allowance. Tee times will be between 0830 and 1400, with the prize presentation at about 1830. This year tee times will be allocated directly on receipt of the entry form and fee, so it is important, particularly if you require a specific tee time, to submit your entry form to organiser, Malcolm Edwards, as quickly as possible. The event Poster and Entry Forms are now on this website, and in the Club House.
