Greetham Valley 3½ Stoke

On a wonderful late summer day, played on the tricky "Valley" Course and its 6 so different par 3s. With the final result of the match only being decided by the last putt on the last hole by the last group, Stoke Seniors managed their 3rd double of the season. Some exceptional scoring from both sides, with best for Stoke on the day of 6&4 by both Tim Haward partnered by Les Cooper and Ernie Armstrong with Keith Barnett.

SENIORS OPEN INVITATION In glorious weather a very successful tournament resulted in Geoff Beeston from Horsley Lodge and Roger Smith winning with 47 on count back, being presented with their prizes by Seniors Captain Tim Haward.
Second, also with 47 points were Ron Foulger from Louth GC together with our Vice Captain, Don Werner with Captain Tim in the middle.

Overall leader is Bob Griffin with 161 points from Graham Miller 154, and Peter Gill 152. For the full table visit the Trophy page.
