THE BAGSHAW BOWL

"Donated in 2006 by Dick Bagshaw for many hours of pleasure enjoyed with Stoke Rochford Seniors"

Dick passed away a few days after donating the bowl.  It was competed for by Stoke Seniors for the first time on Wednesday 18th April 2007, and was a charity day  in aid of Cancer Charities.  A total of £1,100 was raised and 68 players competed for the Bowl in its first year.  The Bowl is competed for annually as a cancer charity event.
In 2008  62 competed and  £500 was raised.  In 2009 70 competed and  £550 was raised. The 2010 competition attracted 66 players raising £600. So after four years we have raised £2750.

1st  John Smeeton 40 pts ocb.    2nd Trevor Harvey 40 pts , 3rd Dave Waling 39 pts.
