Stoke Seniors
Captains Away Day

Senior Captains Away Day was started by Alan Jessop in 1999 when he chose Peterborough Thorpe Wood as the venue.  The intention at that time was that we would move to a new course each year.  Because of the success of the first year we continued visiting  Thorpe Wood for the next four years.  Alan Harvey broke the run and took us to Peterborough Orton Meadows in 2004, Philip Varley took us back to  Thorpe Wood the following year.

In 2006 for the first time we went away from Peterborough when Don Clements hosted his Away Day at Beedles Lake East Goscote.

In  2007 Joe Kime's Away Day was  at Elsham Golf Club, Brigg, Lincolnshire.

In 2008 Adrian Childs day was at Toft.

In 2009 Keith Dugmore's Away Day was at Burton on Trent.

In 2010 Tim Haward's Away Day was at Waltham Windmill near Grimsby.

In 2011 Don Werner's away day was at Ruddington Grange, Nottingham
