On another gorgeous autumn day Stoke completed their interclub program with a resounding
victory. Two winners by 5 & 4 and one by 5 & 3.
This takes the unbeaten home run to 16 matches. The Captain wishes to thank all for their support throughout the season.

The inaugural fixture against
Longcliffe played in perfect Autumn conditions. Things were
looking black for Stoke after the first three games only
produced one half but the last five games all won. Keith Dugmore

A few leaves blowing about as the
first signs of autumn but no rain for over three weeks and the
course is rock hard. Stoke made full use of their home
advantage to complete a win double over Market Harborough for

On a day with a fresh north easterly
wind, Stoke continued their strong home form with a 5 - 3
victory over the neighbours from Belton Park. This was a very
good win against a strong visiting team looking for a winning
double. This was Stoke's only 5-3 win this season and last
season their only 5-3 win was against Belton Parks

On a warm summers day Stoke had their
second best result of the season with a 7 1/2 to 1/2
victory. This compensates for the 7 - 2 defeat at Blankney.
The biggest winners were Chris Woof and Roy Rowe.
Roger Smith was presented with a clock by the Captain to

On a day that threatened heavy rain
that didn't materialised, Stoke maintained their strong performances
at home with a 5 1/2 to 2 1/2 win. Although two pairs
recorded 6&4 wins, our Captain was particularly pleased with
John and Martin's half, with Martin making his debut this
