. The winner with a stableford score of 40, Bob Brown from Laceby Manor GC being presented with his Ping Rapture driver by Tony Goodwin, Chairman of the Royal British Legion, Lincolnshire. The total for all Lincolnshire & Rutland sections so far is: £4065.90 - which with the gift aid supplement from the Exchequer should become £5204 ! The weather was good apart from a light shower, the course was excellent - but new to most. Despite the fairways appearing to be generous, some found problems with ditches and the woods! Laceby Manor. The three teams competing were: Pottergate Branston Moor
Brian Bradley, Brian Ames, Peter Isaac, John Matthews and Maurice Westoby. Laceby Manor
Brian Slade, Alan Rogers, Pat Lond, Dave Hunt and Bob Brown. and Stoke Rochford
